On June 5 we celebrate World Environment Day, in which this year the UN emphasizes precisely the need to act together for a better planet "No Air Pollution".

For this reason, in Aquara we have prepared various activities to make visible the need to take care of the planet, the air we breathe and the water we consume.

In the framework of the Environment Week of the City of Calatayud, on June 5 we opened the doors of the Drinking Water Treatment Station (ETAP) of the city to receive associations such as AMIBIL and ASAEME. There we will explain how the water cycle works and the processes through which the water passes from it is captured until it reaches their homes. In addition, we will tell you about the environmental, economic, social and health benefits of consuming tap water, the most controlled resource in the world.

Also in Calatayud we will carry out a day of cleaning the riverbank that is part of the European initiative Let's Clean Up Europe. The appointment is next June 7 on the banks of the Jalón River, specifically in the area known as 'Azud Mediano'.
