Aquara works with the Federico Ozanam Foundation to implement the commitments contained in its Equality Plan
Through the Foundation, the company has contracted the first woman to carry out meter assembly and dismantling work in Zaragoza.
In its commitment to equality between men and women in the workplace, Aquara has contracted the first woman to work in assembling and dismantling water meters, one of the services the company provides in the city of Zaragoza.
The new employee will join the Aquara assemblers section this week, thanks to collaboration with the Placement Agency of the Federico Ozanam Foundation, an organisation that works to train women with problems in joining the labour market, among its numerous other social integration projects. The Foundation provided the profile and CV of the person registered with its job bank, who was subsequently selected.
This advance arises from the commitment by Aquara’s Equality Committee to reach parity between men and women in the company’s different job profiles. The Committee is currently establishing contacts with different local and regional employment and social integration agencies to meet the parity goals established in the Aquara Equality Plan.
