AQUARA supports #CruzRojaResponde
We join the entity's solidarity program to serve people in situations of vulnerability due to the COVID-19 pandemic
In a moment of special exception, AQUARA supports #CruzRojaResponde, a comprehensive plan launched by the Spanish Red Cross to care for people in situations of vulnerability due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The group will allocate € 1 to this cause for each new client who registers in the client area until September 30. By registering in the client area, clients of AQUARA can consult their invoices and carry out all their procedures in an agile, comfortable and safe way, without leaving home.
The initiative has also been opened to the company's staff, to make it easier for them to join the campaign by making their financial contributions until the end of September.
With this collaboration, AQUARA also contributes to the dissemination #CruzRojaResponde, aimed at responding to the health, social, educational or employability needs of the groups most affected by the pandemic. Through the initiative, the Red Cross aims to assist more than 1,350,000 people and mobilize more than 40,000 volunteers through its more than 1,400 service points.
As of April 3, the Red Cross had managed to deliver more than 80,000 food kits, as well as moving more than 2,300 affected people thanks to a fleet of more than 500 ambulances and 1,200 social emergency vehicles.
