Aquara will manage the water supply service in Gallur (Zaragoza) until March 2020

Gallur Town Council has once again placed its trust in Aquara by approving an extension to the contract until 31 March 2020.

Aquara, a company that manages services and processes related to water cycle management in around 20 municipalities in Aragon, continues to strengthen its presence in the regioN.

The plenary session of Gallur Town Council held on 27 April 2015, after prior unanimous agreement by the Government Council on 9 April 2015, approved the extension to the water supply management contract with Aquara until 31 March 2015.

Both Gallur Town Council and Aquara have increased their efforts to reduce service costs for the next five years, with the aim of avoiding increases in the price of water for the town’s residents.

In addition, Aquara will carry out an audit to analyse the content of discharges into the municipal sewer system and thus minimise the discharge levy surcharge paid by Gallur Town Council.

Gallur, with a population of 2.779 inhabitants, is located in the La Ribera Alta del Ebro region of the province of Zaragoza.
