Aquara and the Fundación Disminuidos Físicos de Aragón sign an agreement to improve employability

Members of the Comprehensive Programme to Improve Employability and Integration from the Fundación Disminuidos Físicos de Aragón (Aragon Foundation for the Physically Disabled) will visit the Aquara facilities to learn about the company’s daily work in detail.

Working to favour disabled people's entry into the workforce is the main aim of the agreement Aquara has signed with the Fundación Disminuidos Físicos de Aragón (Fundación DFA).

Through this agreement, members of the Fundación DFA’s Comprehensive Programme to Improve Employability and Integration can learn first-hand about Aquara’s production environment, visiting the offices where the company’s employees will explain the structure of the organisation, its main business and the requirements and processes for accessing jobs, among other things.

Good practices in Calatayud

For some time Aquara has been working with the Fundación DFA’s Placement Agency, enabling a number of people with disabilities to join the company’s staff.

As a result, Aquara took part in the good practices debate at a forum organised by the foundation in Calatayud. The Aquara Concessions Manager, José Ignacio Heredero, shared the wonderful experience of working with people with disabilities and stressed their great potential.

The company exceeds the percentage established by law, as 5% of the people on its workforce are disabled.
